I was toying around with ways to make a competitve 100pt squad with Vodo-Siosk Baas and here's what I came up with.

--Vodo's Apprentice--
44 Vodo-Siosk Baas
23 Jarael
18 Twi'lek Black Sun Vigo
9 Jawa Trader
3 Mouse Droid
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist

(100pts. 6 activations)

Jarael will have GMA with tripple attack. Vodo Baas is hard to kill, and will make it even harder for people to attack Jarael with him using alter. The obvious choice for his force spirit is to give it to Jarael so that she can make more fprr against failed saves. The TBSV is a good shooter and hard to hit. The Jawa Trader is in there in case some one decides to play a droid and also gives me another mobile shooter with cunning attack. Any suggestions on improving the squad?

eh.. Vodo is always been a little expensive for what he does for me. Nice build using him though. A thought might be to lose the Vodo theme and also drop the Jawa trader. Throw in the Jedi Exile instead for fun, Jareal gains quad, the TBSV gets double, fun!

this would do very well against other melee based squads, but against the norm of 100 and just competitive in general, it would struggle

The problem with vodo is that lord hoth costs the same is so much better.
