I would use this, except for the part where it isn't legal.

I must say, I like the Jolee Bindo figure...

Do you believe the squad could hold up against a Sith Lord like Exar Kun, or Darth Bane? I don't know..

Exar Kun, probably. But Bane would rip these guys to shreds.

The answer is no; even Kun will destroy this squad by being so dang hard to hit and constantly dishing 60-90 damage.

Is there a pure Old Republic Team that can beat Exar Kun or Darth Bane in a hundred point match?

I think its safe to say, the answer is no.

You are going to be hard pressed to find any format where OR is going to hold its own.

Until the KotOR set comes out OR stands very little chance of winning against anything.

The only squad that might have a chance (still a slim one though) is a couple of Jedi Consulars and some good Fringe shooters.

You cannot not judge squads with made up figures for logical reasons. :D

That is a little mean  ..

In defense of custom and made "up" stats, wizards is no different. They make up stats and cost; and make mistakes. They are not free of error, they have put the wrong name on miniatures, forgot melee attack, the Jedi Weapon Master, and 5000 Vaders -just to name a few. While wizards does not accpet them; custom stats should be used; they can create more interesting and more realistic gameplay-- as long as they cost well. For logical reaons I lead a database to uncover more characters to the Star Wars Minaiture Community.

The point being made is that they will never be usable as they will never be legal, and most people do not do a good job of balancing the stats. "Hey i like X and want him to do Y so lets uber jack him through the roof."

Totally agree, the problem is people always forget to make downsides to their minis,
for example forgetting to put "within 6 squares" on a commander effect or ability.
Also everybody overprices costums.
In defense of costum stats, they are fun to look at and criticize. However: costum stats should never be legal for tourny play, just fun play when you have NOTHING to do.
