Got Darth Talon today, and she is my new favorite fig!

Here was my squad:

56 Darth Talon
18 Lando DS
14 Aqualish Assassin x2
12 Ugnaught Demolitionist x4

Played it on 3 different maps, great fun!

I like it. Jariah Syn might be another option instead of lando, DS, although both are great shooters. Talon is very nice indeed.

Played Jariah some, he was fun. I went with Lando cause everyone is all excited over Dodonna right now and I need extra activations. Dodonna, what a snooze fest. I like the piece, I've used it, but we have a couple of slow players at our store (I'm one of them) and the thought of every squad setting up around the store being Ozzel/San/Tarki/Dodonna/Veed just bores me to tears.

I was really hyped about this set but after seeing it in play it was really apparent to me that the game has a finite lifespan, and it has already peaked. Not saying the game's going to die tomorrow or anything ridiculous like that, but unless they make some major efforts at fleshing out the flavor it's going to be really stale in about a year or two.

I have to ask why the AA? Wouldn't you be better served with shooters so the loner bonus is achieved by Talon? Or do you keep her out of harm's way to accrue FP and hope each AA gets off one attack with opportunist before their beat wipes them out?

Regarding peaking of the game.....it's too early to tell. If we don't have some real innovation by Clone Wars then you may have something. All the cross gimmick functions bring balance to the game at this point.

See, I just think they reduce the individual flavor of each faction, and then there's the increased risk of it becoming a game where Rob and Co. is building our squads for us with "must-include" pieces.

Would you guys consider running the Bith Vigo with her to give her evade? At the very least, he draws a few accurate shots towards himself rather than her before he goes down. Just curious.
