Battle Ready
-----
Kyle Katarn, Battlemaster [54]
Luke Skywalker, Jedi Spirit [10]
General Dodonna [9]
Lobot [27]
-----
Total: 100 w/ possible 9 activations

Well, this is a solution to the problem of the JWM swarm, any Ithor based swarm, and nearly every CE based squad at 100 points. Kyle is a beast. With Luke attached he becomes quite a threat of a Force User and is able to use Grip every time he activates. Dodonna lets you always move Kyle last and Lobot gives you customization. Reinforcements very from activations to BG's to small shooters.

What do you think? Bane is what I see as a problem, but with 2 Twilek BG's I think this stands a good chance of winning. (Each BG would absorb one blow from Bane and Kyle would always move last)

It looks good, but like you said, watch out for Bane. Bane could kill this squad, but he would have a difficult time with it. I think it is competative, but I'm not sure how competative.

Well when you get down to it, how bad is Bane against this? I'd bring 2 Twileks. Those 2 Twileks will absorb 2 FULL round of Bane's attacks. Because I'd always outactivate, it is likely that Bane would get off a throw on Kyle, killing a BG and then allowing me to move. I would base Bane and LA. That'd do 40 damage. Let's just say he wins the initiative. He does 30 damage to me (as the other 30 is absorbed by the BG) and I riposte him for 40. I then triple attack. Now it comes down to the init. He wins then I drop to 10 HP and kill him. I win then I triple and kill him. This isn't even taking into account Kyle using Choke or lightning. Seems pretty easy to me for Kyle to win.

bane does always at least 40 damage against Kyle, in this case probably 50, am I right? sith sorcery with mettle is not very good idea, but I would try that. And how does Kyle riposte for 40?

Yeah, I had the exact same questions that Luke CZ raised.

I'm assuming that Flea is also thinking that he'll be able to block at least 1 attack in there somewhere. Even with 2 Twi'lek's though, Bane only needs to hit Kyle a total of 5 times (with Rage) in order to kill him. That's not really very much. Going to be VERY dependent on winning a crucial initiative, and getting off either a Riposte or a Block.

Kyle doesn´t have LS block, it heavilly depends on iniciative, but I would vote in Bane´s favour

Whoops, my bad. Yeah, Bane will just need to get off a Lightsaber Throw (or 2) and Kyle will be screwed. Bane can even safely run away a step or two, take the AoO and do a Lightsaber Throw. He loses the option to Double Attack, but it forces Kyle to use Lightsaber Assault, and takes away Kyle's ability to Riposte. Also, moving away, doing a Throw for 40, and then using Sith Sorcery could be quite annoying.

Bane is still a gatekeeper :) I like this squad though; Kyle is going to be so fun!!!
