Master Kota 55
Aurra Sing 37
Ugnaught Demolitionist 3
Gran Raider 4
99 points, 4 activations

Activations are decent, the damage output is there, but I'm not sure how well it could do. However, 24 defense Aurra isn't something to laugh at, neither is a 23 defense Kota. The last 8 points can be whatever you want, you could throw in Mas, or R2 or Wicket, two Grans, two uggys, two Tuskens, anything.

Thoughts?

I was just thinking of something similar actually.

Kota
Aurra
Obi FG

Renewal on Aurra with a 24 defense makes them approach you. Kota can screen and Repulse. Repeat as necessary.

I was thinking using the diplomat and an ugnaught as the last 8 points. Free gambit, and more actvations. The squad is brutal, and can really throw out damage at the right time.

Wow....dang. Hadn't thought about that in 100 points. I'm not sure if it puts out enough damage fast enough, but it certainly could be powerful. If Aurra can line up the shots right, you'll have a decent shot. Bane might cause you problems, as he'll out-activate you. Loda could be annoying as well, but I'd just have Aurra shoot at things other than Loda until he closes in.

Wow, everyone said to put in different minis.

The Bespin would be useful, he's even better with MK, Obi FG would go well with Aurra, I'm not sure about a Caamasi, I'll keep my pieces out of sight until the perfect moment, but it all depends on play style.

I think you need at least one figure that can blow open or override a door.

Well, I think this squad did remarkably well, I played it on VASSAL today, seeing as I don't actually own Aurra Sing. Really fun game. My opponent (Vroke) had a really cool squad consisting of Han STA, IC and about 10 Mynocks. I won, he simply couldn't do anything against my 24 defense Aurra, needing anywhere from a 15 to a crit, only hitting three attacks against my two big guns in the game. Repulse was the game winner, I think I killed 8 of his Mynocks in one foul swoop.

I used a Bespin Guard and an Uggy for my last 8 points, simply because I thought I needed more swarm control (and I was right!)

This does look like a fun squad. Kota has such a great CE and it does make the ol' Aurra more playable (as if she needed the help)
