Boba Fett, Mercenary - 58
Ki-Adi-Mundi - 24
R2-D2, Astromech Droid - 9
Ugnaught Demolitionist x3 - 9

6 Activations; 100 points.

Mundi's in there for init control. Artoo tows Boba out to do his Cunning, Accurate Double Shots. Intuition back under cover if needed.

I'm going to have to say I really like it, Jedi. Pretty much covers the basics, and does it with Boba-Style!

I think you would be better off with talon than Mundi. He is just such a sad piece. Personally i think you would be better with recon form a probe droid or ackbar. R2 can help, but in 100pts he really doesnt help Boba that much.

It looks good.
Ki-adi-mundi adds a nice touch. Should be interesting to see ki-adi-mundi's CE used with boba, if you can pull it off.
R2 should definitely be helpful.

With Boba being the only other character to effectively activate off the CE, then i dont know that the CE will be worth anything. The only reason i can see this being any good is if Mundi is based and you fly boba up to the fight, but then again why would you want to fly closer to the enemy.

I think Talon fits better too. Otherwise, It's a clean, simple and easy squad. And it can pack a punch.

I like the squad with Ki-Adi.

Plus, the name is very creative.

I can't remember who came up with the squad, but the name came from the old Jango on a Rope squad.

I figured if it worked for him, it would work with a Double Attacking Boba.

It does work with him. I like the look of this squad a lot.

I just playtested this squad for the first time. It was against someone who was relatively new (like me) but knew how to play the game. He ran a Mara/Talon squad that he was trying for the first time. He chose map and picked Cloud City.

Boba wasn't even touched. My opponent played a good game, but I took out his Karrde on the first turn by towing Boba up toward the central door, overiding it open, and double shooting with cunning on Karrde. AFter that, it was pretty much over. Mundi died shortly after spending his third FP for anticipation, which didn't help and let Mara finish him off. Boba finished off Mara.

It was a fun match. And I love this squad.

Edit: I was helped by some poor rolling on his part. But there were stretches where I couldn't hit anything either. And one of his Aqualish Assassins kept making its evade saves against Boba. He also had a Bith Black Sun Vigo.

Jango on a Rope was mine.

I think I heard Fingersandteeth once refer to a big shooter attached to R2AM as a "rope", although not sure.

Sounds like a good game.

I have heard the "___(insert good shooter here)____ on a rope squads" before, I think it is a pretty common name. However, I think this name fits this squad better than most.

Just like you were the first person ever to play B&B (and named the squad). :)

That was a silly thread (a while back).

Yep, whenever something becomes so commonly used that new people know the name but not the source, they just cannot believe the Gaul of anyone who would claim to have coined the term.

@Masterjuge - the term _____ on a Rope is commonly used now. It was not a little over a year ago when I first used it. As I said, I think I heard it once from Deri in a squad crtique thread and I liked it. That is the only use I had ever heard prior to my squad. It is now commonly used.

Anyway, back on topic.
I think this is a great squad.
You should try it with Shaak Ti (ROTS) If you are facing swarms. Her crowd control and sweep would be useful.
