Post subject:  Pawning Slugs

I wanted to know how Defensive Plates would work with Pawn of the Dark Side if:
1) The slug didn't move on it's turn to gain DP. Would pawning him do no damage?
2) The slug moved on it's turn and then was pawned. Would not moving him cause DP to come into place?

Granted, it's probably a dumb question since Pawn doesn't count as a turn for abilities such as Regen.

1. Depends on how you choose to resolve the two simultaneous effects. The smart call is to deal Pawn damage then the Plates.
2. Same situation

And a Pawn turn is a regular turn for all intents and purposes, including Regeneration.

I though I remember that you couldn't Regen or gain FPs during a pawn. I guess I must have misread.

You are allowed to Regen, that's why besides Droids with DR one of the best pieces to use are Trandoshan Mercs.

You can't gain Force Points because you don't ACTIVATE during a Pawn turn, but anything else that refers to a turn applies. Otherwise, the Lancer couldn't Strafe on a Pawned turn.

Though upon another reading of the ability, it reads like Careful Shot or Deadeye, so you would have to declare it before the end of the turn to get the benefit. So, really good thing to use with Pawn of the Darkside.
