Can the Setinel use twin with lightsaber against an adjacent enemy (with a Czerka Scinetist within 6)? Because the Czerka gives the twin if the Sentinel can make a ranged attack dealing ten damage and I believe they never declared Lightsaber as a melee attack.

If you don't have the Melee Attack SA, you don't have melee attacks. Period. So, to answer your question, yes.

Not always, look at the GenoHarradan Assassin. While he doesn't have Melee Attack when he attacks anyone adjacent his attacks are considered Melee Attacks. So it is possible for someone without Melee Attack to "gain" Melee Attack in certain situations...

But that's because the GHA's poisoned blade ability specifically says that adjacent attacks are considered melee attacks.
