so let me get this straight, if I have a piece with strafe, and move I can attack, then land and attack again if i moved 6 squares or less?

Yep, that's how it works. As long as you moved X squares or less, where X is your speed (so Speed 6 in your example), then you can make attacks while you Strafe, and then attack again after you've landed.

For instance, the IG-Lancer can move 12 squares, strafing the whole way, then make 2 more attacks at the end of that 12 square run, because it has Speed 12 to start with. Alternately, it could move up to 24 squares total, using Strafe the whole way, but would not be allowed to make any more attacks after it stops moving.

The one true Mandalore is really saying you can make your normal 1 attack with the Lancer. He only gets 2 if someone like GG DAC is giving him twin, which Lobo is implying is the optimal build with the Lancer. :P
