Post subject:  immediate Droid reserves w/ programmed target
The rules state that the (assassin droid) being brought in via Immediate Droid reserves must be in your squad after set up for the ability of programmed target to be allowed. I am just checking on a ruling for when the assassin droid is brought in (after set up) from immediate droid reserves, can it program a target?

I think not, but the wording is misleading to some. Thanks.

Maybe think of it this way:

You have Kreia, and the ASN rolls a 1 attacking her. now the ASN is on your team, Do you still get to choose a Programmed Target?

in short:

Yes.

Resolve it as if it was the beginning of the game. I believe NN ruled on this a while ago (or something similar) but I can't recall when exactly.

OK better now. :D

It looks to me like Programmed Target works like this-

"After setup" is after the character is set up on the map - be it before the match starts, or when it shows up with Immediate Reserves.


Betrayal wouldn't work because Programmed Target has already been resolved.
