Just making sure I am understanding the interaction correctly. If Leia, Senator has Obi, Force Spirit linked with her, then Leia, Senator could not be targeted if Obi, FS is still within LoS? This would make the combo nigh invulnerable barring Area of Effect abilities or someone with FPs eliminating Obi (or Luke, FS via Jacen)? |

Correct. Obi doesn't count as a target whatsoever which is why he doesn't work with Savage but he does count as a "enemy non-Diplomat"... |

JS is correct. OFFICIAL FAQ wrote: If there is line of sight between the attacker and a non-Diplomat on an enemy (of the attacker) squad, then Diplomat is in effect and the character may not be targeted.

I figured I would bump this instead of starting a new thread, since this came up last night. This is a stupid interaction. I was looking for evidence against this combo after last night, but now I see this is legal. .....dumb.... |

Hardly a game breaker, by any means. Ranged characters should always be able to find LOS to Leia alone and if not, three rounds of gambit lead negate the combos cost in the end. |
