Well, I was playing like 3 days ago and was using Jacen and unleashed the force against some gungans, and then the questions began:

My oponent had Jar Jar Binks at six and tried to use bombad gungan against Unleash the force, so the question is, Can he do that??

I believe no cause in the Unleash the force text (Like Repulse) never say you are targeting, just damage everything at six squares. Its like a global or mass effect I think, so cannot use Bombad against it.

While I was thinking about it, another question came, Can you repulse characters with S.Stealth that are in cover?? cause like in the bombad situation, your not targeting, just blowing the hole thing so I think that yes, you can.

And 1 last question (That can be answered like the first one) Can you redirect unleash the force dmg using the gungan energy shield?? and like my answers to the 2 other questions, I think not =)

Unleash the Force 60 or Force Repulse does not target any pieces. It just deals damage to anything within 6 squares, so abilities like Bombad Gungan and Cloaked have no affect on Unleash the Force as they only affect targeting rules.

Energy Shield would not be in effect becuase of the above also, but more importantly it has no effect because the damage must come from an attack which Unleash the Force is clearly not.
