No, you can't benefit from 2 abilities that are the same. See "stacking" in the rule book. Also, the FAQ is a good place to look in conjunction with the rulebook.

I've looked in both the rulebook I have, and the rulebook posted here, but I can't find this answer. If you attach him to a character who already has Force Renewal, does that character now have Force Renewal 2? |

from the FAQ: Light Spirit Q: If Yoda of Degobah is chosen as the ally, can he use Force Renewal 1 and Force Renewal 2 for 3 Force points per turn? A: No. You cannot benefit from two instances of the same ability. See "stacking" for details. |
