Is there some sort of errata for the Arena map that I'm not aware of?

I ran the DCI tournament at MegaCon in Orlando today. I let a situation stand because Player 1 insisted there was errata (that I didn't know about), Player 2 was actually benefiting from the situation and both players had agreed to the arrangement before the game started. (Had Player 1 been "screwing" Player 2, I would have overruled him instantly.)

Anyway, the situation...

On the Assembly Line side are the Crucibles. Clearly, they're cover squares surrounded by pits. Player 1 said that an errata existed to "make the Arena map DCI legal" that said a person WITHOUT FLIGHT could move from Crucible to Crucible by "walking the path" and using double movement. (Essentially, start on the Assembly line, count two to go over the pit, move onto the Crucible, count two to go over the pit and end on the Obersavation Platform.)

I think he's incorrect. I have never heard of, nor can I find after extensive post-tournament searching, any such errata for the Arena map. I said I would check and I am. Let me know if I'm just missing an important errata someplace or if this is some sort of "house rule" that's being touted as DCI-errata.

There is no such errata. About the closest thing would be that there are no window or high ledges.

Can't find my UM ROTS book, but I'd put even odds that that's one of the senario rules for the Genosis Arena map.

But like Scott said.. there are no erreta's for the maps.

Closest thing to there being a erreta for a map is the Rancor's pit map fix WOTC put out on thier website neigh 2 years ago that never got made mandatory.

Umm, are you talking about the tile made for Vassel? Fairly certain WOTC never had anything to do with it.

I'm not sure I agree with it, but a little spot in the back of my brain keeps insisting Nickname had something to do with it.
