I updated this for Dark Times (nothing new for Masters of the Force).

There is a question I've been wondering. I'm guessing the blurb saying that Force Corruption and Shatterpoint work only in certain circumstances is in reference to someone getting Shatterpoint and Force Corruption going BEFORE the character gets influenced by Force Immunity aka they are 7 away from Ysalamiri, gets hit by one of those FP, moves into Ysalamiri, and is still affected? Because if so I'd like to change that wording to reflect that so it's more understandable.

That's probably a good idea since neither of those can affect Vong, shatterpoint causes a dice roll to be a 20. You cannot use force powers to alter dice rolls against Vong and shatterpoint does just that. (also Mace would not be able to detect it in vong either if he meet them).

As for cooruption and shatterpoint with the FI bubble, well I would say it doesn't go away, it's like battle meditation or force valor, you can walk them up into the bubble and those CE's don't go away.

Yes, it is in reference to Ysalimari. Targetting is one key way to determine if a power affects someone.

However, once the initial targetting goes away, Force Immunity no longer has any affect on those two powers. Shatterpoint becomes an effect on the user, like Rage. Corruption produces an ongoing effect. A "corrupted" state is seperate from the power that caused the condition.

Yeah, I edited the main section earlier to further clarify that in that situation. The original statement was so vague that's the only thing I could think of that makes sense, glad I was right.

Does Force Cloak prevent vong from using Razor Bug and Thud Bug at range?

I thought the idea of Force Cloak was to use the force to alter the perceptions of those around you to make you near invisible. Since the Vong can't be affected but illusions, I would think they would ignore Force Cloak.

Doesn't matter what Force Cloak does in the Star Wars Universe, in the Star Wars Mini game it grants a special ability so it still stops Vong. Now if it granted a Force Ability that does what Cloaked does, then the Vong would be able to ignore it but because it grants a Special Ability then it doesn't matter.

[quote="Sithborg"]Battle Meditation grants a CE, so it works against Force Immunity.

Actually if one looks at it very closely it is not a commander effect and cannot be suppressed. it is a force effect.

No, regular Battle Meditation grants a Commander Effect. Advanced Battle Meditation grants a Force ability, which Force Immunity ignores. Thus, regular Battle Meditation would affect Force Immunity users but Advanced Battle Meditation would not.
