Wow, the pit rules are rediculous. WOTC is really starting to screw up SWM.

No; a save 11 is OK by me. It's what DDM has. Sure they add their level to the save, but we have force points. Just be careful on those maps with pits.

Awesome. Exactly what I had hoped the pit errata would be. Mustafar should not pop up very often anymore then because I'm sure folks won't want to be getting pushed off edges. :P

OK, I'm still not sure I understand something here, and I'm not really sure they have written these out correctly.

The wording for Force Repulse specifically says: "Each Huge or smaller affected character is also pushed to a legal space exactly X squares away from this character" replacing "X" with the distance depending on the particular version of Repulse that is used.

Now, to me, the errata seems to read that abilities "like Force Push" that cause involuntary movement can cause characters to need pit saves. So, my first thought is, OK, Repulse causes "involuntary movement". However, the wording of Repulse also makes it seem like the character must end in a legal square. Well, a Pit is not a legal square when it comes to ending movement. So which one overrides which here? Are characters that are affected by Force Repulse required to end in a legal square, or can they be pushed off into a pit?

If this has been discussed on the WotC forums at all, I didn't see it on there last night as I was skimming through the rules board. If anybody wants to repost this over there, feel free to.
