Let's see if I can finally get an answer to this question. I asked this before years ago and got 2 different answers. It never came into play in the meta so I never asked it again but I think it's relevant again now.

Can I charge 14 with the 2 extra movement from obi?

I heard that you are giving up your move and everything else to charge 12 so no you would not get that extra movement.

But then I also had someone tell me you are getting it added on to your total movement and thus would be able to move the extra 2.

I understand both arguments and also think that with nas choka and the vong that have charging that this question could be relevant again.

If I recall you can use a FP to move farther in a charging assault, but I do not remember if you can use extra movement bonuses granted by CEs.

You can add the 2 to your Charging Assault.
