And, well, Word did pick one up, at least automatically for me it did. In all seriousness, it's nothing too big and I just felt like poking the dragon and trying to lighten the mood a bit

I like the restricted map list. I even more like the maps that were not included. It's amazing how many poorly designed maps exist. |

Dean, I just looked at the download and it still lists Theed as the one from MP1, it's supposed to read League Kit 1. |

They are slightly different, so it does matter that it's the new one. Plus the new one is also on the reverse of the smugglers base map. Otherwise things look good. I'm even thinking that the restricted list isn't restricted enough, but I'll hold final judgment on that until I've played more games on some of the map pack 4 maps. |

I liked the Victory by Concession part, so someone does not jsut htrow the game at the last moment. Quote: Victory by Concession In all tournament formats, a victory by concession shall be awarded 3 match points if the game is conceded prior to the halfway point in the match, typically 30 minutes. After the halfway point, a player conceding will need to call for the judge to determine the match points. The game must be very lopsided for a judge to award the full 3 points after the halfway point. Otherwise it will be 2 points. EDIT: is there any place to grab the 181st Imperial Pilot images, I never did download those cards and the link is dead now. |

I think at least one of Chris' maps should have been included in the restricted format. He is one of the leading map designers for the game and alienating his maps only serves to discourage him from producing more. This is his livelihood, after all. I'm not "bitching" and I have no stake in it, but I think it's a good idea to help Chris out. Maybe in the future we need to get Brad and the other guys who made this decision to work and communicate with him about why his maps weren't chosen. I offered some input on a couple of his maps and I thought they looked fair after he made some changes, but obviously other people - the ones who made the decision - believed differently. Other than that, I think the changes are fine. I wish I'd been asked about Dynamic Duo since it was my creation but you guys can do what you want with it. I'm not really going to lose any sleep over it, I have bigger issues to deal with right now. |
