Yeah, sometimes. I remeber reading the bacta tank articles, and I do like them. But some more articles would be cool.

I do not go to the main page. I just have the boards bookmarked.

Me, too.

Hey there is a lot of good stuff in there. I have definitely been missing out because I too only have the forums bookmarked and never go to the main page. Maybe you could put a button in the bar at the top of the forum along with all that other stuff.

I really prefer the more intellectual discussions that go on in this forum as opposed to the old standby WotC forum. :P

Or just make the giant logo at the top of the page link to the main site instead of the boards.

That would work too.

Just please don't create another sticky post announcing it. I swear, are you guys trying to have more irrelevant stickies at the top of your General Forum than Wizards? Must be all part of the game I guess.

There is a new Design for the website coming down the pipes and quite possibly bookmarking the forums won't work any longer.

Not only do I read them, but I enjoy them as well.

No, I have yet found an article on SWM that gives me better information then a forum with active discussion. This goes for any article on WotC's site, The Holocron, etc.

I don't think I'll like that as much. I suppose th extra click won't kill me though.

Half the time I come on here I use a link in one of the thread response emails.

I voted Yes because I do skim over the articles. But to be honest SWM articles rarely hold anything for me, I've never found any of the WOTC ones interesting or useful either. I'm more into reading SW RPG articles. I'm a RPGer 1st, SWM gamer 2nd.

To anyone who doesn't like the idea of not just stright out bookmarking the site.

With the new design will also come a host of new features. Including live chat. what most likely will happen is the forums as you see it will possibly (not sure yet) vanish and will instead become a part of the website proper. *don't worry, posts & all day will be preserved*.

I'm hopeing to open a full on BETA of the new design soon so you guys can go on it and try to break it.

I am having difficulty envisioning what you mean by the forums becoming part of the website proper... Seems like it would be messy/convoluted. How about a screenshot of what it would look like?

I enjoy the articles. I agree that you can find more detailed info in the Forums. I read the articles first and then search the Forums to get more details if I want more.

I chose 'no' simply because I go to the forums first (almost daily) and don't check the main page but every few weeks. Although, I have read many of them or at least skimmed them at some point. It's just not the starting point for me.
