Has anyone delt with this guy before and how do you think he has a whole set already?

How can he have a complete set that is "factory sealed?"

Then that's what it should say; since the set isn't sealed, each piece is.

Pretty decent set of Feedback that guy has. And the seller's name looks familiar to me. It seems like it's possibly legitimate, but I'd be curious too as to how he got a factory sealed set already. Unless it was from something like the France SWM Championship that happened recently, or some other special event. I know WotC gives what they call 'Factory Sealed sets' as prizes other times as well (Celebration IV had a similar prize).

That is VERY interesting indeed.

We've seen factory sets up pre-release in the past so it's not out of the question that it's legit. They send them out for various reasons.

If I recall though, auctions pre-release date got shut down, likely at WotC request.

Once release date hits there isn't much WotC can do about if even if it was something sent out for promotional purposes or something.

Yeah, but NickName's point is that company's can request Ebay to shut down auctions if a person is trying to sell an item before it is supposed to be available. So, all it would take is for a WotC person to notice this auction and it might get cancelled. Then the seller would receive a message saying he can't sell it until after the 16th. We'll see though. We're only 3 weeks away from teh release at this point, so it wouldn't surprise me too much if this one slides through.

That has worked in the past. I believe we saw a factory set of one set (Starships?) becasue someone emailed the seller asking for proof. No idea if anyone has emailed this guy yet. Since we have the poster, and the seller is unlikely to crack the cards, there isn't much to be gained.

I was thinking of selling complete sets by the time LOF comes out and I wanted to know because this is my first time seeing someone selling the whole set in a while and wondering why.

He responded to my query, saying that all the cards are in one plastic wrapped bundle, and that he did not want to break it until he had a concrete buyer.

Any chance of a pic of the card pack or a shot of all the minis just to see how they're packed?

Can't they just post them? This is off WOTC site.

We could, but I think it would be respectful of us to keep certain secrets if they were discovered. We don't want another Spain-gate going on, with us, the site we hope WOTC might one day respect, the culprits.

Large plastic bag containing the small plastic bags with each mini inside (identical to boosters). Cards packed in one "deck". No Rules/Checklist included.

I had no issues at all with either the BH or A&E spoilers at a different site. In the end, they will make it online and you can see them, if you know where to look.

And as I said, as far as I know, the other site had no issues with WOTC. I think Maxminis did, but I believe they have official ties to WOTC.
