Have any of you ever used the Houjix as an effective Bodyguard?
I just realized that he is unique in that he is the only large piece with the ability (a potential to bodyguard 12 pieces at once as opposed to the normal 8)
Anyone ever successfully exploit that?

I've seen a lot of squads use it on BlooMilk. Not sure if they actually used him or not, but probably. It works well with pieces that have Mobile since they don't need to return to the previous square since he's a Large. This also makes him work well with Swarm squads, especially Gungans.

He's pretty effective with swarms and has a surprisingly solid attack if the ranges close. He's a solid choice if you were considering 2 of the ~10 point BGs.

I like him, I think he works real well with Darth Bane, or even Cad Bane.

Hopefully he'll work well with a Bane Malar. I think the weequay pirate looks more like Malar than it does a weequay.

I like this piece, have used it in some of my fun squads where I need to protect a force user who is charging up for a big pulse/push or a fragile cannon. Also like that its a large base, increases the number of peeps it can protect.

It works real well with the Vong priest and shaper. Those two can hang with him and have good staying power
