Hello all this is my first or second time that i'm mentioning this here.

I'm getting things ready to run my Geonosis Arena Battle next month at ConquestSF in Santa Clara,Calif on Labor Day weekend.

The main problem i had was the Arena itself since i'm not a good builder,so on another Star Wars message board i got some help from a member there.

So he built the Arena in 50 plus parts and sent it to me and i got it thursday and yesterday 2 of my friends helped put it together.

Now i admit it's not the most perfect Arena but's an Arena nonetheless when i get some pictures i plan to post them on Photobucket and my username there is Gideon_03.

I'll let you know when i do that.

The other thing that i had done was have a few Jedi custom made so i'm pleased with those as well.

Um, wow. I can't wait to see the pics. Who sent you the arena? and how much did they charge!!! I think I may love this.

The person who built the Arena for me goes by the name cremebrule over on the Star Wars Message Board set up by WOTC.

I've done trades with him in the past and when the need for me having the Arena built he said he wanted to try,and so i let him.

As for cost for having it built it was a part cash/part trade deal the cash was mostly for the materials he used,and the shipping cost for it coming to me.

The guys you had do the arena has some awesome customs.

So this should look real good.

Okay here's a few early pics of the Arena.

Now i say early because it's not fully painted yet but that'll change sometime this week when it will be painted.

And finally it's not perfect but it's very gameable.

That's awesome! What is it made out of?

That is kriffin' sweet. Have you thought about stop motioning your own movie?

To answer some of the questions.

First the Arena is made from Formboard and some thin pieces of wood.

No I don't have any plans for a stop motion movie as i don't the skill/talent or equipment to do such a thing.

The Arena will be painted before this coming saturday and i'll be taking pics of it set up in all it's glory,since we'll be doing a final playtest for the game.

A slight update the Arena is being painted starting yesterday.

I also decided to change the Pillar's since the ones i got did'nt look that good so i decided to use toilet paper rolls as the pillar's instead.

Saturday should be a very good day as the Arena will be fully painted and also set up for our final playtest as well,and like i said i'll be posting pics sometime this weekend.

And lastly the following weekend will be the convention so i hope i get a good turnout and many nice comments,pictures will be taken there as well.

I am more impressed by Creme Brule's hidden talents. I would have never suspected he was an arena builder extraordinare

I showed Creme Brule some pics of the assembled Arena and he was amazed by how it looked all assembled,i'm very grateful by what he did for me and i hope to be able to use this for many years to come.

The Arena is about half painted and the remainder will be done between today and tomorrow,i won't tell you the color of the Arena but i'll leave that as a surprise.

while it was no where near perfect i must admit whoever helped gideon build it did a really sweet job putting it all together withOUT the instructions i sent him. I also got a bunch of building tips from some good friends of mine. Cant wait to see it finished!!

Okay gang we finished our playtest several hours ago.

Now i can tell you that alot of Droids were taken out as was the 2 Arena Beasts.

However by the beginning of turn 4 all the Jedi were dead the last one was Padme.

Well tomorrow is the day that my Arena Battle will take place so I have high hopes that it'll be a very good game.
