Please don't get too excited. You're all going to set yourself up for disappointment. I mean that in the most gentle way.

Things i've said in the past that got dismissed and now are being talked about:
restricting formats by set
Some chosing not to play the game if and when another company picks it up without the current mechanics

Personally...unless they just pick up where wotc left off...producing more EU and with the same mechanics...I'd rather just move forward with the V sets and custom maps.

I saw the NECA/WizKidz thing but truthfully I wonder if they got confused because WizKidz used to make the Star Wars TCG years ago. So it's possible that game was brought back from the dead and it wasn't Star Wars CMG.

wha who! apparently hasbro still has the license, and they already made a d&d heroscape, and a starwars once only seems logical. a guy at the hobby store i buy from said he was 99% sure we will see a heroscape version even using the same moulds as exsisting pieces.

so there you have it.

for once i was right :D

Uh... HeroScape is a WotC game. Pete was working on it at the same time as SWM.

Wasn't Heroscape a Hasbro game, and they turned it over to the subsidary, WotC? Doesn't Hasbro have final say over all of Wizo's properties? Just asking.

Id be willing to put money down if Hasbro had the gaming license now they wouldve said something way before now. If you mean they JUST acquired it, thats something different, but I dont think thats true either.
