Hey I just got Vassal and was able to figure it out (thanx to Dean's how to guide :D ) and a couple of guys were kind enough to walk me through some games. I'm 1-3 so far, and finding out that I've got a lot to learn.

It's going to take me sometime to get used to using the program, so apologies in advance to anyone I play for being slow - I don't mean to be!

My Vassal screen name is Matthew (thought I'd keep it simple), so if you see me on there, and you don't mind playing a newbie, then send me a PM.

I'm going to enjoy Vassal so much because I live in Australia, and the only person I know who collects/plays SWM is my 10yo son. Not hard to beat him usually! It's so great to play!

Happy gaming folks! :Boba:

Vassal can be hard to learn at first and of course nothing beats playing over the tabletop, but it is a great way to gain experience and play against some really good people. If you ever have any questions about how to play, PM me.

I'm game for a battle whenever I'm on. Obviously named Wannabemexican. I'm pretty new and am learning the ropes too so it could be a good learning opportunity for us both.

I may take you up on that, thanx dude.

@ wannabemexican: love to play a game with you. All we have to do is figure out how to work around the time difference. When are you usually on?

Ha I didn't notice you are from Tasmania! I'm pretty flexible as I don't have many contact hours at uni, I can easily take a couple of hours out and make it up later.
