Just wanting to know who is taking to the time to listen or download.

We would like to make sure everyone is getting in that wants to.

I'd vote for option A and B, because I do both depending on my schedule. However, I would have to vote option B for this one.

Yep, you kinda need an option in there for people who sometimes listen live, and sometimes download. Not sure how you'd want that tallied.

I might have to download and listen to the podcast. Haven't done so yet. However, I did listen to that podcast that was listed over at Wizos. I wasn't overly impressed (not to mention, I think they were dissing the Sith Holonews podcast).

How long are the podcasts normally?

I voted B, but only because circumstances have kept me from catching most/all of the shows live after the 1st one (which I really enjoyed). I've downloaded the rest and am loading them on my MP3 player and listening to them in the car.

Also, the podcast mp3 of the show is 1 hour in length.

We really dont think of it as a podcast. More of a live audio streaming show. Our show is interactive meaning if you log on during the show you can ask direct questions of us or our guests. I find that is much different than a podcast.

Please if you dont mind PM me the details of the last part of your post if you dont mind..... I am interested as to what they said and why they would be doing something like that. The more things out there that help grow or keep interest in the game the better.

EDIT: They never actually mention the Sith Holonews. Still, you should never be dissing the competition (if that's what you want to call it ). This is at the beginning of the podcast. Probably the first 5 minutes or so.

wow 20 minutes in..... They have made their comment about us and not mentioned mini one.......

They are just talking about how great D20 is and have said nothing about Star Wars!!

Yeah, pretty sad. It was painful getting to the miniature portion. Even in the miniatures portion there wasn't much substance. They basically talked about GaW in a vacuum. Hardly any other past miniatures were mentioned.

I have not listened to the radio show live and don't really intend to in the immediate future, but it being interactive is pretty neat, and I think it's a boon to have the different ideas that can be brought in by the "callers". I have, however, listened to and all the recordings and enjoyed doing so, I just find having something to listen to on my time table is really handy... I guess I'm somewhat stuck in a podcast mindset...

I didn't vote because none of the choices matched my situation, but I listened to the first chat live and that was it. I was not able to listen live the next two weeks, and I forgot about it this week. I haven't had a lot of time to go back and listen to them after the fact, either, but I hope to find a day to do that in the next week or so, and to get back to listening live.

I am certainly going to be more involved in listening to the show in the future.

Generally I think amatuer radio shows are pretty bad.

Dean and Bill do a very professional job of running the show. And with my own experience being interviewed last week. It's obvious they put alot of work into coming up with questions. And if they didn't they certainly faked it well, which is another great attribute in broadcasting.

I will be listening in more in the future.I will try to particiapte live, but at the very least I'll be downloading and listening.
