Post subject:  Boris_the_Dwarf RIP (almost)
Well, without warning the Gleemax mods locked everyone out and made it impossible for those of us who don't know the e-mail account attached to our usernames to get back into our account.

So, with that said, Boris_the_Dwarf is in all likelihood a dead username. And since I have no way to PM the mods and tell them I don't know my e-mail, that's that.

Hay man that's bad luck :cry: . I assume that this is not the last we will here from you. A new user-name? & on WOTC. Is it possible for one of the other mods to help you out?

This happened to me too but I got to confirm my username (as if I had several usernames and had to pick one, even though I just had one). I left the e-mail blank and filled in username and password and it worked.
Perhaps you should try again?

Anyway, I couldn't get in without my e-mail, but I just kept guessing old e-mail addresses until I got it right. Wow, that was close. :roll:

LOL, time to update your profile with a current email address then. :P

Yeah, would've been nice if they'd warned people. Is there any kind of a time limit on verifying your email this way? Just need to know how soon I need to make sure to log in from home (since I can't do it from work anymore).

They did. There were announcements up for a couple weeks at least.

They said you need to verify you know your email, or reset you email to one you know or you'll be in danger of losing your account name.

Good thing it's been a bit slow around the Sandcrawler lately... stupid Gleemax. I'm locked out for a few days too. Oh well, this site isn't blocked by the firewall at work yet but Gleemax.com has been blocked for over a month, so I guess I'll be hanging out here more for awhile...

That's so like wizards, say the site is changing, it changes, say you have to have a new username and then make it so you can't make a new username.
