looks like there won't be a preview this week. WOTC_Eric did post the following as a teaser though.

How about some partial previews real quick (I actually do have other stuff to do today). Here's a few cool things I noticed looking through the set:

An Ugnaught with a commander effect that gives all Ugnaughts Self-Destruct 10

Yes, there's a Vader, but Force Grip 4 is kinda new

Because you demanded it, Someone(s) has a power that rhymes with Force Tush

The Rebel Troop Cart has a special ability called, Troop Cart. It's very long.

I don't recall seeing the ability Immediate * Reserves before.

Hilarious. Erik's actually pretty good at keeping the community on their toes. Oh well....Maybe we'll get two preview next week then. That sucks that the stupid LFL/LucasArts people have to be so stinkin' slow about everything.

Force Grip 4? Anyone want to speculate?

Do you think 4 has to do with range? Or the power and damge of the grip?

Immediate Reserves? At the end of this characters turn place 20 points of reserves in your starting area, or could be place point of reserves adjacent to this character.
Troop Cart? Similar to Skiff?

At least this info tempts the palette.

Maybe Vader's Force Grip 4 does 40 dmg to someone within 4 squares, but it would probably cost a lot of force points(like 2,3, or 4).

He did say there will likely be 2 previews in one week.

My guess is the second and third ones will post the same week since he said week 3 doesn't have anything from the game in it so it won't need the extra aproval the game stuff needs.

My idea since Gencon, when we heard about different levels, has been that the more FP's you pour in, the more powerful your Force Power. This goes straight in line with the game, where you can charge up Force powers for super amazing feats of the Force. You want to push someone three squares away, it will cost you three FP's. You want to kill a Chagrian Merc. Commander in one swoop, pour in 4 FP's and choke him off the map.

thats a pretty nice idea, especially if this vader has force renewal.

I wonder if force grip four will let you grip four targets.

I really hope the rebel troop transport isnt the nightmare the skiff was, but i am guessing it will be.

it depends, if they give the transport some adequate HP, such as giving the transport 100-120 HP, then that would be pretty good.

Just dropping the save or the passenger dies part would make the skiff more playable. If the rebel piece doesn't have that it could be usable.

Vader's force grip 4 may mean you can target 4 enemies and do 10 damage each, target one enemy and spend an additional 3 force points for an addtional 30 damage, or a combonation of both. Which means you could do 30 damage to one, and 10 to another. Or he can do 20 to 2 targets.
