I'd say Qui-Gon, He's got good stats, Double, suprise move, Block, and Absorb, he is a good toe-toe fighter for 40 pts. Oh and he can benefit from CE.

I went with General Kenobi. Good fighter for the points, and great CE for Jedi squads.

Distracted by previews would be my guess.

Although I love to play Yoda and think he is a great piece, for the cost I have to go General Kenobi. The extra 2 spaces CE can make a big impact on the whole squad and strategy. He has a lot of hit points and heal on defense and pretty good offense when needed.

We're up to 11 votes now :D

I guess it is just my luck that it seems when I play that Yoda, I don't go against Force-heavy squads or ones that require saves. lol The extra 2 space move is really fun when your opponent forgets about it and you can get that melee character in for an attack. The Force cancel can be a major ability though at critical times.

I voted for CS Yoda, he's great for his point cost, especially his great ce.

Yeah, had to go with Yoda too. Was a tough choice between him or Gen Kenobi though. I like the extra 2 squares movement CE, but Yoda's CE is just so much more useful in the long run. Re-rolling ANY saves is incredible, and being able to do it without burning a Force Point is awesome.

I went for General Kenobi--he integrates well with so many republic builds, and not a bad combat character either!

I had to go with Palpatine. Honestly though, Anakin out-class Vader by a lot. A 1 on 1 battle between those two should end with Anakin winning every single time. Riposte and Loner gives Ani the edge. Vader's burst is cool, but I don't think it's worth the 8 point difference. But.....Palpatine just has so much more to offer. He can off either Anakin or Vader without too much effort, with Anakin likely being the toughest. Vader needs 3 rounds, with Sith Rage, to kill Palpatine (which means no re-rolls on 1s! yikes!). If Anakin uses Riposte at least once, then he only needs two rounds with Rage to off Palpatine (only needing 3s to hit, no less). But...Palpatine only needs 2 lightning attacks, and one round adjacent to Anakin to kill him.

Add on top of those facts: Betrayal, Order 66, and his CE to allow O66 squad members. Definitely worth the 25 point difference, IMO.
