All we've seen is the box art for the apprentice, I assume.

Wasn't it said that there may be a new AT-ST and Rancor?

From what I remember, Golan Laser Turret, Rebel Transport, and Wookiee Ornithopter are likely to be Huges. Luke with Yoda in Backpack is supposed to be box art, and quite possibly a fig.

I'm looking foward to seeing Vader's apprentice's stats, and I'm hoping the new vader has the synergy ability with his apprentice, which would be awesome.

I'd like to see a new At-St. I really like the huge figs themselves, I just don't like the prices for the huge packs and that its nearly impossible to build a competitve squad with most of the current huges. Hopefully that'll change when Force Unleashed comes out.

I'm split on Huges. I love getting new Huges, but I don't like huge sets.

I got an email from the place I usually order cases from today. With the member discount its about $78 (including s/h) for a case. I'm planning to go to a local store Sunday to check out if I can do a pre-order there before I use the online place. He had a good price for A&E so I'm going to see how much he wants for FU and if its reasonably close to the online price I'll get these there too.

I played in a 100 point mini tourny tonight and after we were done me and 2 of the other players spent maybe 30-40 minutes talking about what the Luke+Yoda is going to look like.

I really hope this set is good, or it may mean the end of SWM at my LGS, when BH hit, almost everyone quit, there weren't tourneys for 7 months till A&E came out, even then, only about 4 people show up for tourneys now.

We had a huge (no pun intended) turnout for the sealed game we did when BH came out. Something like 50 people showed up. For the normal friday night tournies we average around 12-16 people each week.

yeah, my LGS had the same turnout for the release tourney, but after that, everyone hated the set and there were only tourneys for about 5 weeks after, then people stopped showing up.

Except for a few bum weeks due to holidays or uninteresting build rules (the store alternates between DCI legal and house rules builds) for the week there's been a decent turnout most Fridays.

In case anyone was curious about what the three of us guessed at for Luke we had the obviuos Unique (counts as Luke & Yoda) and Melee. 20 damage, +8-+10 for his attack and decently high defense and HP. Possible FR and/or MOTF2. For FA we were thinking just a pile of defensive FA. Our thinking is he'll be a low damage, highly defensive tank.

i think we'll see an ATPT, not another ATST, and i think there was mention of a luke in snowspeeder. im really looking forward to more new republic, old republic and sith support. the old republic has 6 units right now, 6!!!

yes oddly enought the Sith originally were given enough to really run them well even though they may not be tier 1.... you can develop decent squad s for them as I ran them in a campaign game.... The Old republic was virtually given nothing.... really... it was closer to Old Republic Jedi then Old Republic... as really there are only 2 OR pieces and then 4 OR Jedi pieces

Mostly because unlike Bastilla for OR you can use one of the big Sith names as the center piece in a mostly Fringe squad.

OR sucks big time; they better be getting help in FU.

Hopefully they'll get something. I'm not really interested in them but I love Vong and I know how much it sucked having new sets come out without even a token single new piece like some factions were getting.

I would really like to see some love for OR, it could be such a cool faction and you could see some great battles between them and the Sith (which is better but also needs some love)

We should definitely be getting some OR in this set. Also have to remember that Nomi Sunrider was originally planned for the COTF set, and LFL bumped her out and told them to put in Uliq instead. So that's part of why we got so many more Sith back then.

Our store also had a huge turn-out for the BH release, and a decent turn-out for the A&E release. We've stayed pretty consistent number wise on our Thursday nights. I think even if not many people buy the FU packs because they are huge sets, the prospect of two normal sets coming out early next year will keep people around.

Plus, a lot of the younger guys at our venue like the Huge pieces just because the look cooler, and oftentimes, are a lot of fun to play with. The younger guys also tend to like to play 200 pt games because they 1) get to use the Huge pieces, and 2) get to use more pieces overall. 200 seems a lot less competitive at our venue then if we play 100 or 150.

If the new Huges in FU are more competitively designed, I'm going to be looking forward to playing a LOT more 200 point games. :D
