I need a map or large section I can print out with just the grid printed on it....

you want a Death Star or Clone Strike Starter map. Blank maps on the back.

Not hard to make yourself either.

In lieu of those, Chessex makes vinyl maps with 1" square and hex grids.

Powerpoint can be used to create a real quick grid of 1x1 squares on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper. Or, if all else fails, a good old fashioned ruler and pen/pencil work great too. :P

Indeed if you look at Piazo's website (Gaming supplies) they also sell the Chessex "Imperfections" for a discount

Star Ship Troopers table top/RPG products also have a VERY reasonably priced ($20) set of "Terrain" maps
with 1" grid and simple textured images
