Anybody else a DCI Tournament Organizer

I have a question about being a DCI Tournament Organizer.

They keep sending me e-mails about how my TO status is going to expire and that I have to run tournaments to keep it active. Okay, I get that.

But just how often is this expected? I mean, sheesh! I ran TWO tournaments within the past two months. (And believe me, that's quite a bit around here.) The results have been submitted and processed, so it's not like they "don't know" I did the tournaments. Yet they *just* sent me a notice saying I have to run another one in the next two weeks.

So, does anybody know just how often I have to run a tournament to keep my status? I thought it was once a year, but as often as they bug me with this, I'm wondering.

I am a level 2 TO and I have recieved nothing and have not run a tourney in last 2 months. If you are a level 1 you only have so long before you need to bump up to level 2.

I'm level 1. Looks like I don't qualify for level 2, as I don't run tournaments all that often.

Guess I'll just have to schedule something.

The weird thing is, I had my level 1 TO status for nearly a year without running a single event before I finally found a place that would let me host tournaments. It wasn't until after then that DCI started bugging me. Now, it seems they are on me every month or so. <groan>

Level 1's have to run 6 tournaments in 90 days of becoming a TO. Once that is completed, then you become level 2. Problem is, you have to submit them to DCI 2 weeks in advance. I had to run 4 in one weekend, just to squeeze them in and work around everyone's schedule who would play. We ran Dynamic Duo and Triple Threat as 100 and 150 Constructed to speed up the play.

I've gotten a LGS to sanction me and my group, I've organized 3 so far, and more to come. Does this mean I'm a TO? Sorry for the Ignorance, I've never heard of this TO thing before.
