With force push well-established, is there any chance of force pull being created as a force power? It would work exactly the opposite that push does. It would deal X damage, and pull that character X squares closer the user of the power. This would be wonderful for melee, IMO. Sadly, I doubt pull 4 would be just LOS though.

It would probably be within 6, and replaces attacks. Mabe a save to be activated for more powerful pulls.

What do you think? Any chance at all? I think this would actually make a LOT of sense for melee, especially for jedi/sith with multiple attacks.

How would it work when your enemy is adjacent? It might be cool to have it represent a force user disarming an enemy with a blaster.

Force Pull (F2, range 6; replaces attacks. Target enemy without Melee Attack cannot attack non-adjacent enemies for the rest of the round.)

Similar to how Push would work if they are already surrounded by walls/characters. If it's not a closer movement, it can't be moved there. I really think Pull could be made quite well.

I was thinking
Force Push
Range 6
Target character is placed adjacent to this character, and this character gets 2 immeadiete attacks

Force Pull X- Force X, replaces attacks, Target within 6 squares takes X Damage and move's adjacent to this character, player can make 1 immediate attack at +4 Attack and +10 Damage on target after movement, target is consider activated, save 11.

Like how Anakin impaled Jocasta Nu in the Archive room. The damage from Pull wouldn't be too great, but the attack is where it's at.

For example:
Force Pull 3- Force 3, replaces attacks, Target within 6 squares takes 20 Damage and move's adjacent to this character, player can make 1 immediate attack at +4 Attack and +10 Damage on target after movement, target is consider activated, save 11.

I think pulling the target directly to you is a sweet idea.

I think that an immediate attack from the user would make a lot of sense rather than just automatic damage. My version of force pull would read:

Force Pull 1- Force 1, Target within 6 squares moves adjacent to this character.

Force Pull 2- Force 2, replaces attacks: Target within 6 squares moves adjacent to this character, player can make 1 immediate attack after movement.

Force Pull 3- Force 3, replaces turn: target within 6 moves adjacent to this character, and may make an immediate attack at +4 attack, +10 damage after movement.

Force Pull 4- Force 4, replaces turn: target within 12 squares moves adjacent to this character, and may make an immediate attack at +4 attack, +10 damage.

Force Pull 5- Force 5, Replaces turn: target within 12 squares moves adjacent to this character, and may make an immediate attack at +4 attack, +10 damage. Save of 16 to be activated for the round.

I think it would be amazing for the game, IMO. I would love to see force pull 1 made. Just that by itself is really, really cool. :saber:

VERY cool ideas.

Were you thinking that Pull 1 would also replace attacks? It would certainly make for some ridiculous combinations. Pull the target in, hit them. Then use a character with Push to knock them back again. :P

Of course, this would just continue to solidify Thrawn and the Vong in the meta as well. :P

Sounds about right. It would work in a mini, especially with how much more work it is for someone with melee to get to a target

No, not actually. I was thinking that if all it did was pull the target to you without the possibility of damage it just kinda sucks. This way, double or triple attack gets a lot better. Or move 12 squares and pull within 6.

I really think that this helps to tip the scale to melee vs. big shooters. We all know how the run-around is sometimes trying to catch a big gun. Perhaps it not replacing attacks is a little too powerful, but it's only a geuss of what would happen IF we got the force power.

Pull 1 would be great if it didn't replace attacks. It'd be great to pull over a Boba/Jango with flight right next to you so can can wallop'em

It'd have to be kind of an expensive power though...on the scale of Vaapad or similar.

Well, I see some positive and negatives for this whole idea.
Negative, first. The next few sets, according to the interview, will revolve mostly around the Clone Wars series. By my thinking, and this is just opinion of course, Force Pull has a lower chance, due to the fact that you don't think of Republic Jedi using Pull much to bring droids closer. Perhaps to disarm, but still makes it less likely. We got Push due to the TFU video game which heavily features it.
Positive, it could have so many other possibilities than just bringing them in for an attack. Bring them out of cover. Bring them next to more than one beatstick. If they make Force Pull, it could make many people shaky. And how about we make it like Lightsaber Throw 5. Not target, just choose. Yank that Super Stealth Jerk away from his box of safety and smack him around!

force pull would great...seems overlooked. the pull should do no damage, just the attack after.

Boy howdy, there sure oughta be. You see it used repeatedly by both Sith and Jedi in the movies and in the cartoons.
The thing I remember seeing most is pulling an object or objects at a character to crush or to inflict damage.
So, by all means... it's long overdue.
