Personally, I like the 'Custom' pose better. But as for the stats, I feel that the 'Custom' one captures his personality better. What do you think?

Wow, I don't remember gonig to look at the custom one recently (it's from the TLT, right?), but I didn't realize how similar these were! That's pretty amazing. I'm not really sure if I could really choose one over the other though. I actually LOVE both of their commander effects, though the custom one seems to have some slight potential for abuse with enough Ugnaughts on your squad, especially when you consider that pieces like Bane and Ulic (not to mention the new Sith we've got since then) could benefit from that CE bonus. Bane might not be that great in the 200 point format now, but with that custom Revan, he'd be viscious. Heck, Ulic and a Mando Supercommando with that Revan and a bunch of Ugos would be disastrous as well, especially since Sith Rage would stack on top of it!

Both are cool though. I'm happy with the one we got, and the new Corruption ability is quite cool, IMO. I use that very frequently when playing with Revan. Oftentimes, he ends up sitting behind all my other pieces going to town with Corruption, and only uses his Triple Attack when the opponent finally closes in on me.

Ah, OK, was just checking my MiniManager, the custom card as shown above is NOT the TLT version. Though, again, the TLT version is actually pretty close to the final one we got from WOTC. Wonder if Rob actually took some hints from that one in order to guage what people were looking for in Revan.

I really like the WOTC pose - really captures the commanderness of him. "Go kill that guy while I triple this dork"

Spot on with the MT and stats, but the force powers are really quite different. WOTC version has him with more force = direct damage while the TLT version has him as a defensive guy.

Overally, Really happy with the WOTC version, but its awesome how close the community came (or how much impact that community inspired him!)

I didn't care for TLT Revan whatsoever. WOTC Revan is a much better improvement.

If our Revan had Betrayal he would be worth it. But for 88 I can't justify using him.

The custom revan is better IMO. The ce is great and also being 8 points cheaper is nice.

I would hardly say that. I think coincidence or parallel thoughts on characters is more appropriate.

I do enjoy the custom's pose.

Darth Revan is one of my all time favorite pieces WOTC has made. It is a flawlessly balanced pieced IMHO and I get a lot of enjoyment using him. I like this Revan over the custom one.

I'm willing to bet the TLT and request a mini thread do have a bit of input on the stats that Rob ends up using. Thankfully he squeezed this Revan in the FU set; cause people would've kept going nuts if we didn't have one by now.

Flawlessly? If he was say 80 for cost then I would completely agree. But 88, not even. That's your opinion of course, but I just don't see how.

I'm glad we see eye to eye Dean. If Revan had +1 defence, Lightsaber Deflect, and Betrayal. I would use him alot. Betrayal sells it. I mean come on! This is a man who turned almost an entire Republic armada and half of the Jedi Order to HIS cause.

The physical stats aren't too surprising. There isn't a whole lot of variety you can do. There was a LOT of clamoring for him to have Master Tactician. The FP and CE are different enough to think it was more of a parallel design thought. It happens. There have been a few customs I've made that are a bit similar to what was made.

it's a hard choice for me but i think i like the wotc one better, i just wish that he was put in champions of the force set
