At the Release Tourney tonight, I was given a deal to think about. Felcor for Krayt, Caedus, and 2 other rares. Ive looked online and it seems to be a good deal, should I go ahead and trade?

Just my two cents, but it seems like a good deal. Needing both Krayt and Caedus and at one point having a second Felcor if I was offered that I would take it!

I urge caution. LOTF is still case fresh smellin new.

For instance i'm the 3rd yes 3rd at my LGS to pull a Darth Kryat. and no one has bought a full case yet (i've only bout 6 boosters).

if it were my Francor, being my only one, ain't no one gonna offer me a thing short entire sets to be worth it. It's a bloody chase rare IMO (anytime i can buy nearly 2+ cases and still not pull something i consider it a chase after peice)

How hard is it to cherry pick Francors? Would they be heavier then the other Huges?

not a case of picking em Zack. Yes the rancor is heavier (though the FU one is lighter then the UH one). But first you gotta have a local store that will let you feel up the product. which is a rarity in my experience. I'd say it's safe to say that at least 90% keep things like SWM and CCG's behind the counter, where it's "i want this" they grab the first pack off the shelf.

plus well.. I've seen 6 cases in my area been opened and not one Francor.. it's living up to it's rarity.

Ah, 3 places near me the sell them have them on display, and don't mind. But my opinion on the Francor is Bias, as I don't care for one.

I say go for it. That's how I got my Boba, Merc and my Shaak Ti, JM. Just know that the felcor is a really hard fig to find and aquire.

When I consider a trade like this, I ask myself how often I will play with the stuff I am trading, or how often I will play with what I'm getting.

So it comes down to whether you play both Felcors alot or whether you think the stuff you're getting will see more table time.

It doesn't sound like a bad deal, especially if you are trying to complete a set.

@fox i dont buy boosters very often, mainly for release tourneys and get everything else i want online as singles so this is probably the only way i'll get these guys (i wouldnt spend that much money on singles). The main way i used the felcor was with shaak, JM and garm, but then i traded shaak away. So i could use it with garm still, but the krayt/caedus combo (Caedus with triple) looks like a very fun squad to play.

Again with my Bias opinion...Caedus being my all time Favorite Star Wars character, I'd do it just for him...But Krayt too? It's a steal. Like Boris said, how much do you plan on using the Francor vs How much will you use Caedus & Krayt?

I'd go for it if I were you. The Francor is a really nice piece to own, but it sounds to me like you'll be getting more out of the minis you'll be trading for it.

On a side note, where are you all getting the idea that the Francor is hard to get? I ordered 5 cases and got 4 of them 0_o

I'd do it too.

I only have 1 Falcor, and have yet to use it. I'd like to think that I eventually will, but huges are usually tough for me to justify playing.

The only Huges I can think of that I've used with any regularity are the Trooper Cart, the Tower, The Viper Droid and things that fly.

Well, I know I only value what I play, so I could care less about the value of plastic that sits on the shelf(though Felcor is pretty sweet to look at). If pretty much you just play Felcor with Kota and swap 2 with Thrawn. If you aren't a collector and/or don't play with Kota or Thrawn then might as well go for Krayt and Caedus. At least those guys have more open value in the way of more help from future sets making them even better than they are now IMHO.

Considering the prices of Krayt and Caedus, I would go for it. I didn't see any Felcor in 3 cases I saw opened. It made me worry and I paid for a couple online. Then I received my pre-ordered cases (which was 2 weeks late due to the company missing my order...). Out of the 4 cases, I pulled 3 and there is no doubt when you are holding one of them in your hand. I have noticed a price drop on the rancors since being released.

I got a Felcor and several others I would throw in to get a Cade, Cadeus or Fett
