This is a commercial that could air on TV, and maybe some websites. I'm sure they could make a little mini comic for it to be in the back of Star Wars Comic books.
So here is my Concept:

Scene: The opening shot is an aerial view of Yavin 4. The camera scans the landscape and then shows Imperial Landing Vessels. Next, it scans to the Massassi Temple and zooms in. Here CGI or cartoon effects take over.

In the background you hear officers shouting commands of “Cover that right flank!” and “Get those turrest up!” and Rebel troops are shown mobilizing. Stormtroopers break through the trees and begin firing on the Rebels. They are followed by an AT-ST. The Rebels take cover and return fire. All around are the sights and sounds of war: blaster fire, shouting, troopers falling. Everything is blood free of course.

Next, a shot of Darth Vader walking fearlessly amongst the fighting, deflecting blaster bolts and slashing down Rebel troopers. Meanwhile Boba Fett is hovering off the ground shooting at the troopers. Then the camera switches to Leia giving the Rebels their orders. Han and Chewbacca run out and begin firing on the Imperial troops. Next the distinctive snap hiss of a lightsaber is heard and Luke, in his RotJ outfit, sprints out, saber drawn. Deflecting blaster bolts, he jumps into a crowd of Stormtroopers and with a sweeping arc, takes them down.

Eventually Vader notices Luke and shoves troops, both Rebel and Imperial, out of his way in a rush to meet his son in combat. The camera shows Vader and Luke, lightsabers locked in battle. Then it zooms in on their glaring faces.

Finally, the camera quickly zooms out to show the Yavin battle map, complete with miniatures. The minis are set up in the same battle locations they are shown in above. Han, Chewie, and Leia Rebel Heros, Boba RS, Rebel troopers, and Storm troopers all face off against each other. In the middle of the map are Vader SL and Luke CotF, locked in combat.

The voice over says “Command the Empire or save the Rebellion. The choice is yours…”

I'd like to thank Lady Hothie for proof reading and giving some assistance.

Nice though i would include the Republic and Seps for the newer people who only saw the 3 newer movies and only know the Republic and Seps.

Maybe half the commercial and Imperials vs Rebels and the 2nd half is Republic vs Seps.

With imps for rebels use vader and luke for republic vs seps use obi ani and like greivous or something.

It would be just so cool. Too bad we know that Wizards and Lucasfilm would never collaborate long enough (or invest enough) to make it happen.

I like the idea, I also think republic and seps should be in the commercial. Also pics of the actual minis would be a good idea so the people know what the minis look like. Maybe also show some pieces from other era's like maybe show a famous character from the LOTF series, and maybe a character from Kotor, such as Revan or Malak. This way you can grab attention not just from people who watch the movies, but also people who read the books and plays the video games.

Sounds like an awsome concept man would make an incredible commercial, too bad we're not likly to see anything like this unless its a fan made mid. But over all its a cool concept.

^^ I can only assume that everyone who went to the release event got a copy of this with the scenario description. I know that I did. I enjoyed very much, reading it aloud, in character voices, while someone else was playing.. :D

I like what you came up with DLV, very cool. Maybe you should post it on the Wizos site to see if it can get some more attention.
