Kartarn and Han GH are definetly the final end of B&B, if it hasn't eneded already. I don't know if they could handle vong, or if vong could handle B&B. Mabe the vong are finally competative. Mabe.

Unless billiv is right and Han is a scrub not worth playing, then B&B will live.

I still don't understand that comment. Han GH is as powerful as a shooter as it gets. Definitely in the top 5 shooters of all the miniatures in the game.

IMHO this new Han will be incorporated into many competitive NR builds.

yeah so far I have used him with Boba Fett BH and have found them to be a powerful pair, especially vs. Thrawn and Vong (since they don't have force and can each kill shapers fast -even in cover). :D

I can just hear Bill now: Silly Boris, Boba BH and Han GH are for KIDS. :P

I already read that post Boris. :P

Boba BH and Han GH would be a very tough little pair of shooters IMHO. The possible 100 points of accurate damage is nuts. Maybe something like this?

--Acute Rivalry--
62 Boba Fett, Bounty Hunter
50 Han Solo, Galactic Hero
9 General Dodonna
5 Caamasi Noble
24 Ugnaught Demolitionist x8
(150pts. 12 activations)

Out-activate your opponent and use Han/Boba for a late round strike. Then, if you win the initiative you do 100 damage. Not sure how competitive this could be, but I can see it being troublesome against many different builds.

I was tinkering with this for 200:

Han GH
Boba BH
Lando DS
Lobot
Dodonna
Ugnaught x3
Talon Karrde (Jariah Syn, not sure which is better)

Not sure about the reinforcements. Default would probably be a Kel Dor BH and 2 more Ugs, but I could see going 5 Gran, or even 4 Ugs and 2 Gran.

I'm not really sure the squad even needs Lobot, but it just feels... wrong to leave him out after all this time.

Seems pretty solid to me. Boba, BH is the superior choice of Bobas since you really don't have the points available for getting an MTB engine going. As unpopular as that Boba is with many people, I think he's more balanced than ever when you consider all the high damage that is out there in the last few sets. I'd have a lot of fun playing that build

And with all the new high damage I don't feel as guilty fielding Boba BH anymore. :boba:

I think there will still be a place for B&B, it's just a matter of playing it correctly and over-coming the counters.

The only this with that squad is you have 2 people attacking. A total of 80-100 damage a turn. 40 of that is limited to 1 person. Loda would be killer here, Reflecting everything. While the other problem is they can both go down quick against melee.
