My wife and I give each other a day away each month where we have no responsibilities and can do whatever we would like. We have four kids and are very busy, so it's nice just to have a day away. I usually spend my day playing minis somewhere.
Anyway, my wife's day was yesterday and she spent her time in Seattle with a friend shopping. She calls me in the afternoon and says, "Hey, I'm in a Borders and there's some Star Wars Minis in here. Would you like me to get you some?" Well of course I say yes! She then says, "They have 2 Alliance and Empire and 2 Bounty Hunters." I said, "Get the Bounty Hunters. Both of them if you don't mind."
She pulls in at 11:30 last night and throws the bag with the packs onto the bed. I open up the first one and out comes a Mustafarian Flea rider, don't have it so that's cool. I keep grabbing figures and the last one I pull out is a Boba Fett BH !
Like I said, I love my wife!

It's always nice to have a spouse who can not only tolerate the addiction to plastic toys but indulge us from time to time. Good stuff!

I thought you were going to say she cherry picked you an FU Rancor. Since it was just Boba (who I already have) I will withold my jealosy on the pulls. I will not withhold it for the fact that you have somebody who will buy you boosters as gifts.

With a Girl Friend, your time and money go down the tubes. At least that is what I keep deluding myself into thinking so I don't date!

heh then you picked rotten *L* my exwife (don't ask) never once complained about my hobbies and also indulged. Course i also indulged and fed her addiction to Books n such so it was a 2 way street. was never a issue long as the bills were paid and the kids looked after.

By always, I meant whenever I bring up buying SWM.

Most of the time, she's pretty cool about it.

Just tell her you could be spending your time and money at strip clubs...

When I told my wife that she said that if that were the case I would be spending my money on Child Support and Alimony.

Ya know, as often as that 'I could be at a strip club' comment is suggested, Ive never once heard of it actually working.

I think once I get around to being married(in about 20 months), then I'll just keep that line to myself.
