the guy who ran the shop for us still has serious amounts of seal SW:CCG product, we are all friends and break it open from time to time and play sealed tourneys. :D

But getting back on topic, I've always had great playing experience with the various CCG/minis games I've played... but the company support is mostly negative. That could help explain why I am a tad pessimistic that the set poster/map situation will be handled well. I hope I am just overreacting here. I want to believe that the company will get it right, but my overall past experiences with gaming companies has jaded me a bit, I guess.

Good news, they will apparently be in the League Kits.

One LGS Owner talked to, one map secured when delivered! Sometimes, it pays to be the nice guy who has brought in so many gamers to the fold of Hobby Shop Gaming!

Pardon my cautious optimism, but Rodney admitted he doesn't have much contact with OP.

As I read that my mind went back to when a WotC web guy (I believe it was Erik) posted that the reason the inserts in BH promoted the WotC SW homepage as the place to go to learn about SSB even though there was no such info on the home page was that someone called him and asked him a random question about the web address without telling him why they wanted it.

A similar statement was made on the DDM page regarding the DDM 2.0 rulebook being posted. The guy responsible for that at WotC actually admitted that the date chosen for the release of the new rulebook was done without any input from him, and he even suggested it was chosen randomly.

The point is, we need to be hearing from people who are actually "in the know." Ian Richards is the head of OP. I am on my way to contact him right now. Hopefully, he will respond, and if he does I will post it for all to see. :)

I kinda figured he meant the league kits, as that seems the most logical location. But thanks for looking into it Boris. I appreciate your effort to get the real information out there.

The only DCI maps that I don't own. I got the UM versions, but have no access to the League Kits.

Eh, you can make any copy of Bespin or Mos Eisley DCI legal with a black pen and a couple of colored markers, for the most part. But yeah, I know there's plenty of them floating around. I think there were about a half of a dozen up for grabs at one of our TFU release tourneys.

Perfect for some type of scenario! Steve, it would work perfectly for one of your RPGs where one side is trying to defend the base, and multiple enemies keep coming in. (Wow, I amaze myself when I'm dead dog tired!)

DCI, well, for anyone that has scouted the full map, no thank you!

I just picked up two of these maps today from my lgs...going to give one to my brother. Scenario play will be fun...which is all my small group usually plays. Anyway...it's nice to have a new map to try out.

Gotta try out a new smilie!
