I would never use CotS Vader in a "Trooper swarm." He works best with high-attack shooters, especially Force user ones like Aurra Sing, or sometimes with RS Palpatine.

I have played and won several 150 point games using him, Aurra, and Young Boba. Sadly, I have lost just about as many, probably more.
