ok, so I went into ToysRus today, and they had 3 FU boxes left.

Picked up the first two--nothing special.

Then the third. It was HEAVY. I mean really, really heavy.

bought it and...RANCOR!

Bonus: it also had Chewie of Hoth in it!!! xD

Now I know that CoH isn't the best mini A.D., but it's one that I've been wanting to pick up, so two amazing VR's out of one booster!

congrats!! that's the one good thing about huge boosters (2 VR)

Strange, but my Rancor also had a Chewie in it. Reminds me of Universe, when I know of three select boosters, two of them mine, with BARC Speeder and Maul on Speeder. Anyone else have either of these happen?

I hear quite a few cases of people pulling a VR along with their Rancor. Not any specific one for the most part, but I've heard of Revan, Luke&Yoda, Chewie, Han, and others, IIRC.

That's why I've never understood why so many people can't get rancors; I've traded away like 7, all cherry-picked with ease.

Anytime I'm in my LGS, or a Barnes & Noble, or a Wal-Mart, or a Target, there is never a booster on the shelf that is a Rancor. Supposedly the LGS that we play at every week is suppsoed to be trying to set aside some Rancor boosters for us to use for prize support, but that hasn't happened yet. They're only easy to cherry-pick if someone else hasn't already cherry-picked them first.

Here in Lafayette, it seems that many of teh Rancors were packaged with Kazdan.

My 11 year old brother pulled a Rancor and Revan in a booster. (I cherry picked it out of the case for him.

The Rancor is the only piece from FU I don't have yet. Not enough places near me sell loose boosters so its very rare for me to even find any I can check the weight of. So far since FU came out I've seen a total of 3 loose boosters at a book store and all were light weight.

Kazdan was with the Rancor I pulled/cherry picked from a booster at Barnes & Noble in the Twin Cities area.

I once got a Universe booster with Obi/Boga and Maul/Speeder in it. I was quite pleased.

We have a local Rancor whisperer here that picks them out with ease as well.
