Post subject:  Interesting IA ability for SWM?

We discussed for a bit on the SHNN last week about having characters from IA coming into SWM.

One cool ability is called close and personal. Do a melee attack. if that attack doesn't kill your target, shoot them for a bit more damage. That is it in a nutshell.

in SWM speak it would be a +10 damage bump.

To add to the fun once per game, if you draw the card, you get a still surviving target yet again. Which could be about 80 points of damage if not a bit more.

Thoughts?

Interesting ability. so it kinda would be like a reverse Final Shot? Instead of getting the extra dmg vs people of 50 HP or less, it would just work if your attack would not kill the target? Seems really powerful, kinda like how Assassin is very powerful (might as well just be a permanent +4/+10 in this game, cause of how many non-droids there are that are good). I'd limit its usage, but it sounds like a cool idea for a new damage ability.

One nice thing about this ability is that it requires a shooter to be adjacent to his target in order for it to work. It definitely helps the engagement-dilemma.

I'd like to see this ability get ported into SWM.

I don't know if it would need a +4 Attack and +10 Damage. I would just go with the damage. And Trevor is correct is should be on a shooter and adjacent attacks.

Single shot blaster would probably also have to be paired with this guy to avoid him getting twin.
