Hi Guys,

On WOTC Retailer Online website http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=retailer/releases If you download the release calendar for March 2008
there is some Star Wars artwork. Could this be booster artwork?

Maybe it'll be on the Mandalorian faction this time. But for this to happen, Wizards would need to realize that there are Star Wars fans in the world besides the ones that have seen the movies or played recent video games. :roll:

His granddaughter has her own set of armor, but I don't recall that she used his (could be wrong).

The pic doesn't look like a girl though. The body shape and stance are more man-ish.

The Galaxy thought Fett was nothing more than a half-digested morsel in the bowels of the Sarlacc, and Fett used this to his advantage. Utilizing the less recognizable Slave II, Fett only took jobs from the most subtle and discreet clients. It became even worse when Jodo Kast, a would-be bounty hunter who managed to acquire Mandalorian armor in an attempt to imitate Fett, made others believe that he was the infamous bounty hunter. Boba ambushed him using a hologram of a bounty Jodo was after and brutally finished him off by causing his jetpack to overload.

Sweet, thanks for the pic Zack. It definitely looks similar to the other booster pic we've seen so far (has the circle shaped looking planet in the background) and is about the right dimensions for a booster box. We're only 3 months away from this set coming out (so like 5-6 weeks from previews!) so it's not that unusual for us to start finding booster art about now.

I'm just psyched that I just found out I got a raise at work, so I'll be making about another $100 a month now. So, I'll actually probably be able to save enough to purchase a case or two when this set releases.

As for another Fett...well, I was really surprised to see Fett Merc in TFU, so this surprises me even more. This will be 4 sets in a row now with a Boba Fett. Of course, we've had 5 sets in a row with a Luke Skywalker, and so far every set except CS and ROTS had a Luke, so on the other hand, I guess it doesn't surprise me that much to see Fett again. He is, after all, one of the most popular characters in the EU. I just hope that this incarnation is a Mandalorian faction piece and represents his character in the Legacy of the Force books. :D

Luke/Anakin and Vader/Anakin are required by liscence with LFL. We will always see some combo of these :) Boba is a fan favorite, so I am not surprised to see a lot of him either. Plus, most of the Boba's are really from the EU (hear that Drew?) :)

I hear ya Bill and if that Boba is Mandalorian specific I'll give Wotc huge props.

If not, its just another icon fig that will a general niche and not really help the problem with faction support.

Not only are the dimensions right, but the style of the art is in line with the booster art we've seen. I believe that they always commision the same artist to do all of the boosters for any given set.

BTW, Boba's daughter did, in fact, use her father's armor to masquerade as him for a while. However, it has not been determined whether or not the entirety of that story is canonical.

Also, Jodo Kast had mando armor, but it did not match Boba's.

P.S. wookieepedia + government job = way too much knowledge about a fictional universe.

Hah. I read on wookiee he had mando armor and acted like him for money. I was unaware whether it looked like his or not. Excuse my ignorance.
