A plugin that allows fans to design their own unit cards is available on the Strange Eons 3 catalog.

1- Download Strange Eons from http://cgjennings.ca/eons/ and begin installation. During the install, it may ask you for the location of Java on your PC. If it does so, let it download and install Java for you. You can also download Java from it's official site in Oracle.
2- Once install process is finished it's time to install the plugin. Run Strange Eons, when it opens, press shift+F12 to access the catalogue. In the opened window, select Star Wars CMG file and press "download and install". You should also install some plugins that provide usefull features to Strange Eons: Bulk Export, Pickman's Portrait Studio, Picture Thief, Synchronize Project Selection, Zip Tools, Core Typefaces and PDF Support. When finished, close the window and Strange Eons will ask us to restart the program.
3- Both the "File>New" menu or "New>Component" project menu will open the same window. Here you can select the component to create. In the upper right corner you can set a game filter, and in the left there's another filter for component groups. If you select Everything, every component available will appear in the right selector. Choose the component type you want and press "Create" or "Create in project".
