Well with all the rain and flooding we've been getting in Chicago, I lost a lot of my SW books. They were stored in my parents basement. My mom called and said they got over a foot of water in the basement. I went over there the next day (cause I was working nights) and noticed the horrific scene. I had a lot of good friends in those books. I had them in one of those storage bins, but apparently, that doesn't do much against that much water. |

That sucks. I know there has been flooding issues here in MI, but further north. |

Jake this is indeed bad news, very sorry to hear that you've been effected by he terrible rain that has be pounding your way. When I flew in to Midway last week I saw the devastation from above and it look really bad! |

Sorry about your misfortune. I have some friends up there that have had major basement flooding problems recently as well.

To make matters worse. No, Insurance won't help my parents. Why? You ask. Because for some unknown reason, my brother, weather it be he was drunk or just an idiot or some other reason Turned off the SumpPump. Good luck trying to sell that to insurance companies. |

That sucks, sorry to hear that! I had that happen at my dad's house growing up, I was in the basement room and would wake up occasionally to a puddle of water under my bed. After I moved out it evidently got worse and destroyed a majority of my childhood books and toys. |
