EDIT:

As Knight Models have now produced 19 releases with 35 Miniatures total in their 30mm line I thought I would change the first post of this thread to a gallery for easy reference.

Now this is not the prepainted variety of minis like WotC's that we are used to but they are scale with our minis.

They are sold individually as singles for about $20 a pop.

Wow that maul and anakin look awesome. If they start doing EU that we don't already have I'll buy them...too bad that isn't likely.

I think this is old news: however seeing them in comparison to the regular minis is really big news, there all a little expensive, however they are perfect fodder for V-stats, in my opinion.

I may just have to suck it and ask my wife for money :mj: :(

interesting, from what i can tell it doesn't look this is for any game,i may be wrong here since I can't see anything other than the pics,so it may just be for collectors.

highly detailed too which is cool.sadly, shipping will be a nightmare if you can't find them on this side of the ocean...

restricting formats by set
Some chosing not to play the game if and when another company picks it up without the current mechanics

I wish I was a skilled painter cause I'd love to use some of these. It would be really cool to introduce more duo pieces, such as that Luke and Chewie. Heroclix introduced a new system with that which is pretty interesting.

They are just miniatures, no game is being directly marketed with them. The first wave are available through our sponsor Noble Knight Games, hit the banner add and check it out.

Yeah, these were posted here a while back, but it's really neat to see them in the same picture as some SWMs to be able to tell the scale difference. I've recently picked up playing a different miniatures game, Malifaux, which is all metal, un-painted, miniatures, so this wouldn't be that different. Will have to keep an eye on these for V Set options. :)

No, this company has had this license, and as been producing these for quite a while. As was said earlier in the thread, these pieces were posted some time ago on the forums here.

I think the last thing I heard was that he isnt planning to continue the game, but is going to produce pieces for rpgs.

But, ive been saying whoever bought it wasnt going to continue for awhile now.

Knight Models is from Spain. They have the license for 2 years. They have inferred that we can expect a Darth Vader and Boba Fett before too long in the 30 mm line.

Here is more from their 70 mm line:

minis are minis, just trying to find out if we are getting a viable filler piece.

It is something to keep an eye on. Get a good enough model, I might pick one up and use it (unpainted, of course).
