It is time again to start playtesting for more excellent minis - in the here before you know it - VSet 5. We really need your help with playtesting as the more games played per mini allows for the greater possibility that said piece will be all that it needs to be when the time comes to include it in the finalized set. For VSet 4, playtesting was sporatic at best and some played alot while many people did not play much or at all after signing on. We know that life sometimes makes playing hard to fit in, but your help is needed very much and if you can help, please make it a point to play if/when possible. With VSet 5, initially, we will take a bit of a different approach and dole out less minis/player or playgroup. If the player or group plays, records, and submits thorough results they will be sent additional minis to playtest as thanks for the help, with the hope they will continue to playtest and have even more options to try. Like last time, but it needs to be reinforced how important it is, we really playtesters to use the (revised) playtest form and fill it out after each game - the sooner after the games ends the better for an accurate recollection of the game - and submit it to me via PM or email (7bombs@comcast.net) as quickly as possible. Relaying results without the filling out the form, or by merely sending along a thought or two is not likely to be used and your playtest will not have helped as much as it might have with a bit more accuracy and time. Please PM or email me stated factions you like and please download the playtest form PDF included in this thread if you wish to play and I will be back in contact with you with your initial playtest minis to play. Though I think it would be better to have released v-set 4 and let the play testers get familiar with the new minis before starting to play test v-set 5, I will gladly rip apart....errr.....help evaluate new mini's.

I also put up an Excel document on my 1st post for those that want to enter everything as they play and via laptop or desktop PC. Then the PT can simply send me back the Excel file with the information inputted in the appropriate areas. Thanks, minis to test for you very soon. MG |

You do realize that V4 has already been playtested for months, right? Well what I think he is saying is that it is awkward for people who havent seen Vset 4 all the way to properly playtest. However with Vset 4 spoilers being finished soon, I would think they will be done before we get our Vset 5 assignments. |

Audri is correct and as they are asking for NEW play testers it would be difficult to assume they know all the v-set 4 pieces and/or have them if they are new to the process. Anyway, sent PM ^^ |

Heavy playtesting won't really be required until after release of set 4 so you will have time to acquaint yourself with the released stuff. Obviously, any playtesting, regardless of when it occurs, is helpful. Some playtesters have already made great contributions to the design process. Play testing is really the quickest way to influence the design process. With some of the more expert and proficient playtesters becoming designers themselves. Anyone who wants to be a part of the development of the game are encouraged to volunteer. |

I'm in as well. Although, most of my v-set playtesting has been with the ultrastar and he normally writes it. However, I'm definitely willing to write more often. I need the practice anyway haha. |
