Here's the link to some pictures of the customs I made before the Chicago regional--The Avengers as Mace Windu, General Skywalker, Captain Panaka, and Foul Moudama. I tried to post the pics directly to the forums, but they came out huge, and I couldn't figure out how to shrink them. Those look awsome!!! I love the way you combined the characters so well. When I did my ponies I couldn't figure out how to do that outside the weapons and you managed to do it so well. |

Thanks, Audri. I really tried to get a good blend of both characters in there. The base minis are Heroclix. Most of them were fairly simple mods and paint jobs (actually, Panaka wasn't modded at all, but he has a more complicated paint job). The Hulk I used actually already had khaki pants on, so I didn't even paint his clothes, just his skin (and I repositioned his arm slightly). Iron Man/Foul Moudama was a bit more complex, both because of the pose of the base mini and the fact that Foul doesn't really look much like Iron Man (being a Talz and all that). I wound up having to swap in the hand of a Jedi Sith Hunter to get the lightsaber in place. What's funny is that people seem to like Skyguy the best, and he's the one I'm actually least sure of in terms of the flavor. The color scheme is right, but I'm not sure the winged helmet works lol. |
