As I spent the last week going through my boxes of (literally) hundreds of excess minis, I started thinking about possible custom options to go with the V-set cards. I was wondering what people who have done customs have used to make unique minis for the v-sets.

I've already come up with a few ideas just using my limited artistic skills and experience. The Twi'lek Scoundrel looks to be the perfect piece to custom into, well, just about anything else. Between head swaps, lightsaber and/or gun additions, and repaints, the guy could be made to look like any non-unique that I could think of. I also looked at the Human Blaster-For-Hire as a repaint for Dessel, and the Human Engineer as the model for Tenel Ka.

Any other suggestions?

Well one of things Ive done recently was using the uggie droid destroyer as a base for the new Uggie Jedi, by turning his gun into a lightsaber.

I really didn't do any customs for vengeance. I am however working on them again for Scum and Villany. One of the simplest is cutting the hatch open on an.... umm..well lets just say a huge piece and cutting the base of of a hairy soldier and squeeze it legs together to fit in the hole you made in the huge. Then glue the hatch open. 10 or 15 minutes and you are done. I painted the sides of the hatch.

Don't forget to cut the base of some other smaller hairy soldiers to finish it off.

It's the mini we've all been waiting for:)

Quite easy to make, although it breaks my heart to forfeit this perticular huge piece.
