Yes I think they are, first there is the repetitive figures like stormtroopers, and then they're releasing 6 or 7 new booster packs in a year. My local gaming store went of buisness (right before I was going to get the At-At for $20) I was on Champions of the Force. I have some Bounty Hunters and Starships, but now it's to hard to find any new ones at bookstores, who only carry 2 or 3 booster packs at a time.

We have had 2 this year. We will be getting 3 or 4 next year. It is nice to not have the lulls anymore. Personally, I feel 3 a year, once every 4 months is the perfect timeframe. It's about time they start trying to keep pace with other games.

The thought has crossed my mind. There have been a couple of Quality Assurance mistakes with FU and I fear it is going to get worse with the amount of sets they want to crank out next year.

Plus my budget is going to take a hit with all the sets coming out next year. I say enough with the huge sets.

Whoever gets every 60 from every set goes down in my book as super dedicated.

I'm to the point where I'm pretty much gonna be using my friends minis from the new sets, he's most likely gonna shoot for complete sets, simply because I cannot afford to keep up. I like to think that I've supported the game a whole lot by the collection I have up to A&E, I don't even want to think about the amount of money I've dropped on the game, so I don't feel too guilty about playing on vassal with pieces I don't have.. ya know? If never bought a mini and just played purely online I guess that would be a bit abusive but then again I wouldn't knock on anyone who did that because this game is expensive to keep up with, honestly.

The problem isn't too many sets too fast, it's too many Huge sets too soon. Every second set doesn't need to be a Huge set.

Just a question, but does anyone ever think of showing wizards some of these problems we talk about?

1) Read the sticky called a time and a place for everything.

2) They have done online polls on the official site. That is where I voice my purchasing issues especially regarding huge sets. I also addressed a 'what were you thinking' feeling on those polls as far as completely random and poor choices they have tossed into the sets.

Personally, finances are not really an issue for me. It has just to deal with playability + collectability (ie, do I want it for any reason). Lately, these last few sets have not hit it with me, so I purchased a lot less of the sets. Perhaps upcoming sets will make me return to purchasing what I used to, but for the time being, I have been spending my 'gaming money' on board games, War at Sea, and my 360/wii.

New question: How many of you are held back on minis because of cost? I know I am.......

Hopefully it never gets to the point where it is star wars minis vs. feeding the kids

well hopefully this is straightening out Fool's priorities, and since I haven't heard from him for the past 30 minutes I'm guessing he's trading those tie crawlers for something that's halfway edible.

3 sets a year is ok for me, just with there were no more huge sets.
Cost of huge sets is a problem for me. I only buy a set amount and try to trade for the rest but if i do not get every mini it's not that big a deal for me.

I can stand three sets a year, but I'd prefer 2 a year with a stand alone product like AoE/BoH mid way through each lull.
