This weeks SHNN gave me a great idea.

There are a couple of awesome maps from our friends jedicartographer and armoredgear7 that had a few minor lines missed before print.

-Theed there is one set of stairs without a yellow line

-Jabba's Palace there is a tble without a green line

-I think there's one other, I can't remember.

I know some were corrected for later prints, but I have an idea for those of us that have the maps with a few lines missing.

Anyway - I have a question for our mapmakers. Would it be possible to have a fix available for download. Only the squares with the outlines that are missing would be needed. Basically a tiny tile. That way we could print them out and glue them on. It would be a nice gesture for your customers. Seems like it would be pretty simple to handle, and wouldn't cost virtually anything.

Maybe even print those little squares out yourselves onto sticky backed paper, and pop them in league kits as incentive.

Just an idea. Thanks guys, and keep making those awesome maps.

Others may feel different, but I would not willingly ruin a fantastic looking map by glueing something to it, even if the glueing somehow fixes how the map should look.

The idea is that it would be the exact same artwork, so it would blend in and look exactly the same, except with the proper lines.

Ruler and sharpie do the same thing :)

But let's wait for the map designers to tell us what to do officially.

There is a tiny tile for the Theed map for download on their site. It's been posted for quite a while (pre-regionals):

The art may be the same, but the quality of the printer isnt going to be the same as the professional printing that JC/AG7 have done when the maps are made in the first place. Maybe (a huge maybe) if you could stick it on there somehow and get it laminated on, without the lamination process messing it up at all, I might like the idea, but I dunno.

I would just tape it on to an already laminated map with scotch tape and call it done. Easily replaced as needed, and doesn't mess up the map.

Since it is an official errata from the designers and should be announced as a reminder at sanctioned tourneys, it's mostly a matter of convenience so people don't forget/argue about it in-game.

Although it's in a prominent location, the Theed one has never been an issue. We did issue a tile-fix, but it's probably easier just to remember that stairs are always yellow. I forget specifically where the green square is on Jabba's palace; I think it's in one of the audience chamber alcoves. I'll wait to give the word on that one.

To the best of my knowledge we haven't missed any others that were intended to be terrain and not just artwork. Sometimes we put small stuff that isn't intended to count as terrain.
